Feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel  2023
A Beautiful Grace Filled Event is Greatly Anticipated

We have so often felt enormous graces have been associated with this Feast.  Bring all your petitions and lay them at the feet of Our Lady.  Come and receive great blessings and help from your heavenly Mother on Sunday 9th July. There is something so special, beautiful and powerful about Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  To get a glimpse of its power one only has to reflect on the fact that some of the greatest saints of all time have come from that special order that falls under Our Lady’s mantle.  We recall the brilliant St John of the Cross, the great St Therese of Jesus, and the universally loved and powerful , St Therese of Lisieux, otherwise known as the “Little Flower.”

Throughout the world the Little Flower is particularly loved, and her powerful intercession so often felt.

So we do have a great deal to thank God for, with so many graces coming to us through Our Lady of My Carmel.  But there is more.  By wearing the scapular, the ordinary faithful too receive the special protection of Our Heavenly Mother under the title of Our Lady of Carmel. That is a great thing. There will be enrolment in the Scapular on the day.

Regarding the scapular, there will be free scapulars distributed on the day for those who attend.  The scapular is the sacramental that is so highly favoured.  No other sacramental has been recommended by so many popes and saints throughout history.  Why Heaven itself recommends it.  That is why the last apparition of Our Lady at Lourdes occurred on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in 1858.  Then, on the last and brilliant apparition at Fatima,13th October , 1917, Our Lady appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel.   After all, what did our Lady promise St Dominic?   “One day through the Rosary and the Scapular I will save the World.”

There have been so many instances in history in which people have been saved through the wearing of the scapular.  People saved from drowning, people saved from bullets which have ricocheted off the cloth.  So many miracles.  However, saints such as the Cure of Ars, the great St John Vianney would explain that the greatest protection is the spiritual protection that Our Lady gives to those who wear the Scapular.

Do take this unique opportunity and join us.  If you already love Our Lady of Mt Carmel, then come along to thank and glorify God for the protection and aid He has given us through Our Lady.  If you are wanting to place yourself under Our Lady’s care for the first time then this  celebration is the perfect opportunity.  Never before have we needed Our Lady’s protection more than now.

There will be enrolment in Our Lady’s Scapular of Mount Carmel.  We are blessed to  be having a Carmelite Priest to make this enrolment for us.

There will be free Scapulars given away to all present.

What a great blessing too to have with us the First Class Relics of three of the greatest Saints of all time, all of whom are doctors of the Church: St John of the Cross, St Therese of Avila, and St Therese of the Child Jesus.    These precious relics will be available for veneration  on this one day only.  Come and pray for their intercession.

Don’t miss this unique and wonderful opportunity
