The magnificent Saint John Paul II said in his visit to Fatima in 1991, “The new condition of the people and of the Church is still dangerous and unstable. Therefore, Mother, we need you and ask that you reveal your love to each one of your children and to the nations” (cf. May 13)Our Lady of Fatima is associated with some of the most significant historical and spiritual events of the last century. The truth of the apparitions was demonstrated through the amazing miracle of the sun in which on October 13th, 1917 everyone in a crowd of approximately 100,000 witnessed an incredible solar phenomenon. This phenomenon was witnessed by both believers and atheists alike and was so dramatic that most of those present thought it was going to be the end of the world. The effect on those who witnessed this miracle was profound. People converted. Our Lady of Fatima predicted the

end of the First World War and the beginning of the Second World War. Our Lady predicted the spreading of the errors of atheistic Communism throughout the world. Our Lady predicted the assassination attempt on St John Paul II. This took place on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, 1981. Subsequently Pope John Paul II consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The then surviving visionary the Servant of God, Sister Lucia Santos explained that this act prevented a nuclear war that would have otherwise have occurred in 1985, and that this consecration also led to the fall of communism in the former Soviet Union.
God wants to give all of us an important and personal message through Our Lady and remind us of timeless and unchanging divine realities.
Firstly God indicated that His victory would come through Our Lady. It is as if God has entrusted these times to Her and is pleased to be victorious through Her.
She told us that in the end Her Immaculate Heart would triumph.
Secondly and most importantly Fatima comes to us with a warning, a loving warning, but nevertheless a warning. In one of the visions Our Lady opened her hands and in doing so the three visionaries saw the fires of hell and many, many souls going there because no one is praying for them. It was revealed that most of the souls going there are doing so because of sins of impurity.
In our evil age in which sexual promiscuity is promoted as well as all forms of deviant sexual behaviour, it is good for us to remember that this is all part of the final battle between God and the enemy. Let us stand firm with Our Lady and be part of His victory by remaining pure, humble and with His grace let us dare to say holy, as we await the promised triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
What else can we do? We can pray, make sacrifices for poor sinners, we can wear the scapular and pray faithfully the powerful rosary daily. Also please do join us on the 12th May to make a very special and pleasing tribute that will bring great blessings upon us. We are looking forward to a beautiful procession. Please do join us
